I’m Putting The Plan In Motion

Yeah, I’ve started but I’ve seemed to have found contentment in my just being in Mexico.  That’s sort of good to an extent, my plan is to live a rather casual life and experience as much as I can.

In the past 12 days of living in Puerto Aventuras I have seen more sights and experienced more than I had in the first 2 months in Mexico and I still haven’t finished exploring my immediate surroundings in Puerto Aventuras.  And honestly, every time I think I’ve about seen it all, I haven’t…..I realize ‘oh, there’s over there’!!   It is FUN.  I feel like a little kid exploring a new world except that I’m an older kid. Doing what I can with what I have.

The plan in motion.

So…..for the past few days I’ve thought about spreading out!  Seeing some other countries and getting on track.  Mexico is home, it’s where I live and travel from.  So what’s next?

Belize and then Panama…….September looks to be Peru.  Panama is booked for February.  Then I’m thinking about hitting 2 to 3 others countries (Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and El Salvador) over a 6 to 8 week stretch.  These are all mainland countries and I’ll still have a Honduras and Guatemala to visit.  This is shaping up pretty good.

Then it’ll be a bit of island hoping thru the Caribbean.  Tempting to do some of that now….but it’s their high season and it’s a bit more pricey right now, so I have to cool my jets.  I’ve a plan and there’s plenty of time to see and do.

The plan in motion.

I have to be back here (home, Mexico) for the end of September 2017 for my residence renewal.  Before heading out again.  Plus I have to see the legal aspects of leaving for an extended time for traveling thru Asia.

Asia is the next step….Looking at being in Japan for December’s end to see 2018 in in Japan.  That just sounds EXCITING!!!  Another language and culture to explore.

Back to where I’m at.  Belize is less than a days drive from where I live and so is Honduras. These and Nicaragua are rather easy to access. I’m just not sure of the quality of the roads.  I’ll be exploring that shortly.

As of yesterday, the plan is back in motion and there’s still lots to see and do right here on the Maya Riviera and I will.

Thanks for coming along!!

Action!!

Peace and Love,

John
