Evil In The Eye of The Beholder

Evil In The Eye of The Beholder

I’m reading your opinions. Your World views…evil in the eye of the beholder.

I find it pseudo-philosophical.

Perhaps it makes you feel good about yourself.  You’re impressing others?  Maybe the weak-minded that can’t rustle up the intellect to shape their own opinions.  They need your help and that feeds your need.  What ever that lower rung of hunger is?

I might sound angry, or mad.  But that ain’t it.  Nope.  Hang with me.

Everything is evil from your point of view.  You may not agree, that’s fine…….  You are too involved in your pseudo-philosophy to see and you simply accept what you say.  Even so far as to think your input is necessary to get people to ‘wake up’!

All they see is what they write and talk about.  It’s a lot of ‘hot air’.  Life isn’t that bad, the world is not such a terrible place, and the boogie man isn’t trying to get everyone!!!  Gosh!

I have a few of these sorts on my social media sites.  The only reason why I have them there is that hopefully they’ll catch a bit of optimism from me.  Because, I no longer read their diatribes.  I did at first.  Well written and crafted vignettes filled with nothing but pessimism (pestimism too….hehehehe).

Their complaining is more than what meets the eye.  They are what they complain about.  They have become the evil that they denounce.  It’s all they see.

One way to look at these people is that they are necessary.  Necessary to show the contrast…….and not want to become one of them.

They spew words that paint a picture of ‘their hate’.

Do I respond to them?  No, I don’t want to get any of that shit on me.  Besides, I might attract some of their ‘apostles’.  Don’t need that much hate coming at me.  I like my peaceful existence.

I have some dear friends that align some of their opinions in the vein of this world thought evil shit.  No, I don’t try to persuade them otherwise by addressing it…….I do that thru my promotion of optimism.  Besides, people are gonna believe what they ‘want’ to believe and I don’t have the time nor do I want to waste my energy on trying to convince.

Being an optimist is a place of strength.  I feel good there.  It lacks angst and …….well, negativity.  Obviously. I can’t see spending my life looking for opposition, slanted views, feeding an angst that hungers for more. I can’t!

The world isn’t as evil as they would have you believe…..

For one thing, your optimism, smile, charm and love (to name a few) makes this world a better place everyday!

Peace, love, and beaches,

John
