Here Are A Few Websites (4)

Here are a few websites that I recently stumbled on and I thought they might be a bit useful to some of you that happen up on my blog.

Let’s get started:

  1. http://buffer.com I discovered this a few months back and use it on a fairly regular basis.  What buffer does is allows me to schedule my social media postings ahead of time.  I’m using the free version here so I’m limited to the number of times I can post something in 24 hours and I’m limited to only one social media site.  In my case, I chose my Twitter account because it’s also shared to my Facebook account.  You could choose just Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google + etc.  There is a cost for adding more than one social site for $8.50 a month.  My thought is that perhaps for a business account that has a lot of activity but for a personal account just using 1 social media site seems sufficient.  For me, it’s just part of a plan….I’ll explain shortly.  There’s plan her that’s priced up to $400 a month should you have the need!
  2. http://www.dlvrit.com This is similar to buffer that I mentioned above except I get 5 free social media sites to post to.  It’s for free!  But just like buffer.com it to limits the number of posts you can schedule.  I can do 10 daily posts to 5 social media sites per day for free.  There’s an upgrade program available for social media butterflies. You can spend $10 dollars a month for unlimited posts for 50 sites (50 SITES!!!) or you can be the social media mogul that you so long desired and choose unlimited post to 1500 sites for a mere $150!!  Choices my friend.  Here’s what I do.  I use buffer.com for my morning greeting, I’ve got 10 free posts (that’s the number of posts I can store in my queue at a time.  Easily 7-morning greetings.  And I use my dlvrit.com account to space out my other postings and pictures to Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr. That’s a lot of postings for me. And of course, I can go daily and add more on this site.
  3. http://www.wetransfer.com This is a really handy site.  You can sign up for a free account that allows you to transfer up files up to 2GB!  That’s a hefty file size if you don’t have a picture (there are other sites for pics).  There’s also a paid plan for up to 20GB files for $20 a month.  I’ve got music files that sometimes exceed that 20GB!!  Usually, I just need to edit the file.
  4. http://www.stupeflix.com I’m not using this one yet.  I’m intrigued and putting some content together for making my video.  I just thought it would be an interesting site to share with all of you that love being a little different in an artful way on your social media accounts.  As I play with it going from pages and I get ideas.  My problem is I always have too many ideas.  But I’m sure you’ll see something from me on this one……a video for ‘No More Mondays’ perhaps!  You can get a FREE Download of ‘No More Mondays’ right here http://johngaudetmusic.com/store.

Just a few of the sites that get more out of me than you probably need.

Websites!  I can’t do without websites!

I hope you find something a tad useful here.

We all have different things that we do in life that may seem a little time consuming (social media) or there’s a file we need to send but it’s too large for email and we don’t know what to do……or we just want to be creative and stand out above the rest.  These are the tip of the iceberg.  I’ll give you some more in the near future.

Right now, I’ve got stuff to do that needs my attention and I’m a bit under the weather with a scratchy throat and stuffy sinus.

Peace, love, and beaches,

John
